Braided buns are beautifully intricate and very easy to do. This variation starts with an inside-out french braid to produce a bun that appears larger than it really is. Due to it strength, this is also a great style for swimming and other athletic activities.

1. Braid an inside-out French braid all the way down to the end of your hair. Curve the braid up and around one side of the ridge of the french braid.

2. Wrap the braid over the top and down the other side of the ridge.

3. Keep wrapping the braid until you run out of hair. Secure with pins.
This is so cute! I love braids and these are fashionable, yet old fashioned and from your telling, very easy to do! Thanks for sharing this.

I love this bun. I had to rush out of the house with brushed but undone hair. Seven minute car ride (as a passenger) produced a beautiful bun – without a mirror! It was only until I got home again that I saw it in a mirror, and it was lovely!
Thank you.
I’m sorry for bothering you so much! I want to share my bun with you.

Pretty!
this style is so lovely, and easy, and if you/i muck up it’s easy to look like you didn’t. for instance, i cant for the life of me get a French braid, let alone an *inside- out * French braid, so instead i just do an inside- out luana braid, also i can rarely get it strait, so i put a flower or ribbon on the side (i know that you can do this with most styles, but i just find that it looks particularly good with this one)
Oh, it’s a dutch braid. That makes things better! Now I know how to do that, Thanks
