A quick renaissance variation of the Luana braids. If your hair is only long enough for one loop, you can use this as a Civil War style as well.
1. Make Luana braids.

2. Loop one braid up and pin it in the middle of the length to the base of the other braid.
That is really cute! I’ll have to try it sometime!
To the KING be all the glory!

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
I tried to time all these braid posts so they’d be up for people to use for Reformation Day.
Oh I love that, say it isn’t hair related but do you know of any blogs or websites with pictures of authentic Renaissance clothing? all I can find are peasant blouse’s with full skirts and corsets worn over the blouse.not my thing.
Hi, Holly, better late than never…I publish a line of authentic Renaissance sewing patterns. They have lots of different style options, including more modest variations and even maternity!
